Registered Massage Therapist at your convenience
Veronica Mendoza, Founder and Owner
I am always excited by the unique challenges that patients bring to me in my practice as Registered Massage Therapist. My decision to make a career change and reinvent myself as a massage therapist developed out of a passion, desire and on-going interest in helping people, seeing measurable results and contributing to their overall health and well being. I feel my Physiotherapy / Physical Therapy background and my Massage Therapy education compliment each other as I'm able to communicate very well with my clients. Finding the source of your problem and bringing you relief from them is what I thrive on. Not simply treating symptoms, but helping you understand their cause and how you can try and avoid them from recurring in the future. It is very important for me to make sure that I educate you on what is happening with your bodies so that you can ultimately be in charge of the healing process and prolong the benefits of the massage therapy sessions that I provide. My therapeutic approach is not always a passive one. In my experience, the most successful results are achieved when the therapist and client work together. It means doing what you need to do in between massage sessions. This might be doing recommended exercises to stretch or strengthen, observing and modifying your posture or ergonomics at work, adding more movement into your daily / weekly routine or finding ways that you can better manage and reduce stress in life. I am looking forward on meeting you and use my combined knowledge and skills to address your concerns and get you back to the activities you love.
